How to Make an Appointment

Appointments may be booked in several ways:

Online

Patients can book appointments up to 2 weeks in advance using online services.

Patient Access:

https://www.patientaccess.com/    This is the quickest way to book an appointment. Register for an account and you can book appointments and request prescriptions online. You can also use this to see the results of recent tests, saving you the time of having to call the surgery. If you need help setting up a patient access account, please ask reception and they will be happy to assist.

By Phone

Patients can book an appointment by calling reception on 0203 376 3100 .

In Person

Patients can visit the surgery and book an appointment with the receptionist.

Please note: This does not apply to same day emergency appointments.

Advance Booking:

Bookable up to 2 – 3 weeks ahead, these provide choice and flexibility as to when and by whom you are seen. If these appointments are filled on a particular day the receptionist will look for an acceptable alternative.

A number of these appointments are available to book through Patient Access and NHS App.

On the day (Urgent only):

Every day at 8.00am, a limited number of appointments become available, enabling you to speak to our doctors quickly if that needed. There is a choice of either face to face or telephone appointments and you are able to choose depending on your needs.

At such short notice there is much less flexibility over the time of the appointment and choice of clinician.

Telephone Consultations:

You can book telephone appointments with our GPs, Physicians Associate or Nurses in advance for various issues such as ongoing medical problems, sick notes, medication changes, blood test results, investigation results and many other things to save time and your journey.

E-consult:

E-consult is our online consultation form, a fast and safe way to consult a GP. Please note: an e-consult will be replied to via e-consult or text.

You are able to submit a form for various reasons whether this is for administrative help (e.g. sick notes) or for help for your condition (e.g. back pain, coughs etc). You can find this on: https://fortywillowssurgery.webgp.com/treatmentCategory/showAll
